Because here’s the thing: spooky season is short. Between fall festivals, costume shopping, and school events, it’s easy to blink and realize Halloween is over before you’ve had time to enjoy it.
So today’s challenge is simple — schedule your Family Halloween Movie Night before it slips away.

Why a Family Halloween Movie Night Is Worth It (and Easier Than You Think)

I know, it’s one more thing to plan. Another box on the to-do list when you already have plenty.
But here’s the thing — it doesn’t have to be complicated to be awesome.

Family memories don’t need to be Pinterest-perfect to stick. You don’t need themed snacks or matching pajamas (unless you want them!). All you really need is your crew, a good movie, and some popcorn. That’s it.

I’m 45 years old, and I still have to watch It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown every year — and honestly, I probably always will. Some things just feel like fall, and skipping them would make the season feel off.
In our house, a few other must-watch favorites are Halloweentown, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and Beetlejuice.

And you know what? Those movie nights never have to be fancy to be special. The kids pile on the couch in fuzzy socks, the popcorn gets everywhere, and we all laugh at the same parts we’ve seen a dozen times. That’s what makes it perfect.

Here are a few easy ideas to make your movie night cozy without overcomplicating it:

• 👕 PJs or Halloween shirts
